Directions:

1. Decide and record the collection of words that you would like to use in your word cloud.
2. Go to http://www.wordle.net/create
3. Enter your words. Place a "~" directly between words that you would like to go together.
Words will display larger if you list them more than once. The more they are listed, the
bigger they become.
4. Click the word "go."
5. Choose the "wordle" cloud that you prefer by clicking "randomize."
You can also print a copy. You cannot directly save it or get an embed code, however.
6. To save your Wordle, take a screen shot.
7. Open your PowerPoint program and choose the BLANK layout.
8. Paste in your picture.
9. Choose "Picture Tools: Format."
10. Choose "Crop."
11. Crop your picture.
12. Adjust its size to fit your PowerPoint page.
13. Adjust the color of the background as needed.
14. Choose "Save As."
15. Give the file a good name.
16. Most importantly, before choosing SAVE, change the "Save as type" by clicking
the arrow and scrolling to "JPEG File Interchange Format."
17. Choose "current slide only" when it appears.
18. NOW YOU HAVE YOUR WORDLE SAVED AS A PICTURE READY TO BE UPLOADED.
